ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Marla and I want to introduce you to Bellashummingbird57. The name for my business comes from a few things. The name Bella is in remembrance of my Italian Greyhound, Bella, who passed last year. The second half of the name is in remembrance of my dad. My dad was an East Providence police officer who passed away in 2008 from lung cancer. His favorite bird was the hummingbird and his badge number was 57. My dad also loved to feed and take photographs of birds.
I am a cancer survivor who began taking pictures of birds and nature after my friend, Angela and I rescued a Muscovy duck that had been abandoned. After that encounter, I became more interested in birds and nature and found that it helped me to cope with my cancer and pain. From there, Bellashummingbird57 was born! I hope you enjoy my photos and find something that interests you!
